1. What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account info: name, email, company name, trade, city, state
• Billing info: processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers
• Business data: job types, labor rates, and technician names you enter
• QuickBooks data: invoices, payments, and expense categories via read-only OAuth

We also collect limited technical data automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and error logs.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Service — populate your dashboard, reports, and forecasts
• To send transactional emails — account creation, team invites, billing receipts
• To improve the Service — aggregate, anonymized usage analytics only
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Intuit / QuickBooks — financial data via read-only OAuth
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting

4. Data Security

QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Field technicians only access data their role requires.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted. Request earlier deletion at support@getroughin.com.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email support@getroughin.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required to operate the Service. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
